| In 1994, Helfand designed the identity for word.com--then called Shift Online. This site has evolved, but remains guided by this original identity. Anticipating such evolution is part of our strategy for web design: we have since designed identities for The New York Times and Newsweek, understanding that implementation will occur later. Frequently, we prototype new strategies for television and the web, such as channels for the America Online Greenhouse. |
